Prithvi Shaw joins Sachin, Virat with new deal

India under 19 captain and young batting sensation Prithvi Shaw joins likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara and Steve Waugh as he has signed a multiyear deal with MRF, meaning he will sport the famous logo when he comes out to bat in the upcoming U-19 World Cup.

Speaking about it, Shaw said, Shaw said: "I'm honoured & humbled to be playing soon with a MRF bat as I have grown up watching my idols like Sachin sir, Brian Lara sir & now Virat sir playing with them and scoring tons of runs & bringing laurels for our country. I am thankful to MRF for associating with me."

The 18-year-old, who has been labelled as the next big thing in India has hit five hundred in his first eight first-class games so far and slammed centuries on his Ranji and Duleep debut.
