IND vs SL: New look India eye another series triumph

After clinching Test and ODI, the host will be looking to do the same in the three-match T20I series, despite the general consensus that the matches being held few days ahead of the South African tour as ill-timed.

The T20 squad will also see different players in action. Saurashtra left-arm pacer Jaydev Unadkat, who last played in a T20I against Zimbabwe in June last year, has been recalled and India have three first-timers in Washington Sundar, Basil Thampi and Deepak Hooda.

The visitors form in the shortest format of the game has been poor as witnessed against Pakistan. However, Sri Lanka will look to put up a tough fight but for that to happen, their batting line has to perform.

In terms of head-to-head India lead Sri Lanka 7-4 and are yet to lose against them in the lost four outing.
