IND vs SA: Faf du Plessis, Dale Steyn named in SA Test squad

Faf du Plessis and lead pacer Dale Steyn has been recalled to lead a full-strength South Africa squad for the first Test against India beginning on January 5. The duo was not part of the four-day Test against Zimbabwe due to illness.

Fast bowling all-rounder Chris Morris also has been added to the 15 man squad. Morris has not played for South Africa since July when he suffered a back injury during the tour of England.

Quinton de Kock, who pulled a hamstring while batting on day one of the one-off Test, has been named as the sole wicketkeeper in the squad.
