Virat Kohli slams 21st century

Virat Kohli is leading from the front as he brought up his 21st century in the second Test against South Africa in Centurion.

The Indian skipper carried the side, playing classic counter-attacking innings and in the process reached the three-figure mark during the first session on Day 3. Kohli’s masterful knock included 14 boundaries.

Batting in a difficult situation, Virat Kohli stepped up to the occasion and hardly looked uncomfortable at the crease while is counterpart perished without much of a resistance.

With his 53rd century, Kohli became the second India captain, after Sachin Tendulkar to score a century in South Africa.

Kohli dragged India to 307, scoring nearly 50 percent of India’s runs.
