U-19 WC Final: In-form India take on Australia for cup glory

The young guns have been in spectacular form in the Under 19 World Cup, they are yet to lose a match and their smallest margin of victory has been 100 runs, against their opposition in the finals Australia.

The team has been clicking on all cylinders, bowling department hasn’t given the opposition an inch, their pace attack is the fastest in the tournament and spinners are equally good.

In terms of battling, the top order batsmen have finished the job in the matches they were involved, meaning their middle-order is a little undercooked. Most of the work has been done by the top three, who have 724 of India’s 1087 runs in the tournament. That’s 66 percent.

However, it is important that the team doesn’t get complacent and head coach Rahul Dravid will be fully aware of the fact that Australia is a strong side and they can’t be taken lightly.
