When legends across different sports meet, it becomes a memorable moment for all the fans and when both of them are at the peak of their careers, one can expect the fans to be over the moon. One such moment was when two legends, Dhyan Chand(Hockey) and Don Bradman(Cricket) met when Indian hockey team had gone for the tour of Australia and New Zealand in 1935. Hockey and cricket have a lot in common including the country of origin- Britain.  After watching Dhyan Chand play, Bradman commented: “ He scores goals like we score runs in cricket. “

Dhyan Chand represented India at the 1928 Amsterdam olympics, 1932 Los Angeles olympics and 1936 Berlin olympics. He was known as “ The Wizard” for his superb ball control and played his final international match in 1948, having scored more than 400 goals during his international career.

On the other hand, Don Bradman (aka ‘The Don’ ) was an Australian cricketer who was regarded as the greatest batsman of all time and averaged a staggering 99.94 in his test career.
