India vs Sri Lanka: India look for total domination, opportunity for SL to salvage pride

Cricket | Sri Lanka Vs India 2017 | Wednesday | 6th September, 2017

India tour of Sri Lanka has been one of the most one sided series in recent years, the host failed to provide any sort of challenge, failing win a single match, infact they hardly troubled the men in blue.

However, the Lankans have one last opportunity to salvage some pride in the one-off T20 match, but going by the form, anything apart from Indian victory looks highly unlikely. India will want to end the tour by sweeping the host in all formats, thus will be coming out all guns blazing in their attempt to polish off the entire plate.

The match will provide an insight on what kind of batting line Team India are looking at in the T20 format ahead of upcoming T20 home series against Australia and New Zealand. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka have made few changes to their original T20 squad, leg spinner Jeffrey Vandersay and seam-bowling all-rounder Dasun Shanaka are prominent additions.
