ICC World Cup 2019: Pakistan vs West Indies, match details & playing XI

Cricket | World Cup 2019 | Friday | 31st May, 2019

In the second match of World Cup tournament, Pakistan will take on with West Indies at Trent Bridge in Nottingham in the second match of the World Cup 2019 on Friday. Pakistan has lost their past ten one-day internationals including a 5-0 whitewash by Australia and 4-0 thumping by England.

But skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed hopes his side will draw inspiration from when they were in a similar position in 2017.

"We will seek inspiration from our Champions Trophy win because then also we were losing and then lifted ourselves at the right time to win the trophy," Sarfaraz said ahead of the game in Nottingham.

Pakistan has Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Wahab Riaz and Hasan Ali in their bowling department who can dismantle any batting line. West Indies, on the other hand, have some big power hitters like Chris Gayle, Andre Russell, Shai Hope in their batting line-up which can explode against any opposition and make a mockery of their bowling attack.
