English giants Manchester City and Chelsea are set to lock horns in the final of Europe's most prestigious Uefa Champions league in Porto, Portugal tomorrow (Saturday) at 12:30 am IST.

City has never won a Champions League title before, while Chelsea registered their only title win in 2012. Apart from this, in 2008, Chelsea's team also reached the final. Although City does not have the experience of playing the Champions League final but under Pep Guardiola they won their third Premier League title in four years, and are setting the standard for excellence and success in England and beyond in recent years. 

Guardiola has won the champions league twice as the manager of Barcelona.

City made it to the final of the UEFA Champions League for the first time by defeating last year's runners-up Paris Saint Germain (PSG) 2–0 in the semi-finals. City won the first leg match 2–1 and thus the team won based on the overall score 4–1. 

Chelsea is high on spirits after they knocked out 13 times UCL champions Real Madrid in the semis. A goal from Timo Werner and Mason Mount helped Chelsea beat Rial Madrid 2–0 in the second leg of the semi-finals to advance to the finals. Chelsea beat Real Madrid 3–1 on the aggregate score; the first leg match between the two teams was equal to 1-1.
