Oops: Ronaldo narrowly avoids nasty fall which could have ended horribly

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo scarcely avoids a dangerous fall which could have injured him seriously. The star was walking off Real Madrid’s team bus when he lost his footing but showed great reflexes to save himself from bad fall as he managed to stay steady despite slipping on a towel.

The Real Madrid superstar’s leg flung upwards but the quickly reached out onto the rails and steady himself to avoid nasty injury. After he managed to save himself from the fall, he walked off wearing a sheepish grin and winked as he entered the stadium.

The incident happened ahead of the European Super Cup which Real Madrid went on to win, defeating English side Manchester United 2-1. Ronaldo played very little part in the match as he had returned from holiday less than a week ago and had very little training. Ronaldo replaced teammate Karim Benzema in the dying moment of the match (83).

Real Madrid clinched another title thanks to goals from Casemiro and Isco, the Spanish side dominated for large swathes but United managed to score and nearly forced extra-time. The Red Devils new man Romelu Lukaku bagged his first competitive strike since his 75 million move from Everton.
