When you think of fastest footballer in the world then the like of Manchester City’s Sane, Real Madrid star Bale or even Arsenal’s Theo Walcott pops in your head but there is a new lad who currently plays for Indonesian First Division side Boreno FC who might change your mind.

Terens Puhiri has become an internet sensation after a video of his crazy, lighting fast run during a league match went viral. Standing at 5ft 5in, the highly rated player from Jayapura, Indonesia, isn't the biggest but his incredible pace surely makes him one of the quickest players in world football right now.

During the win against Mitra Kukar, the 21-year-old covered a ridiculous amount of ground in the space of seconds and then converted the goal with ease.

The internet sensation could be even faster than Manchester City midfielder Leroy Sane, who recently became the fastest player in the English Premier League by clocking a run speed of 35.48 km per hour.
