U-17 star Dheeraj Singh set for Motherwell trail

India Under 17 World Cup star Dheeraj Singh has started his journey in search of a long-term deal in Europe and his first stop in Scotland. After fulfilling his contract for AIFFs Indian Arrows, the young goalkeeper had been on the lookout for foreign opportunities for last few months.

Dheeraj was in talks with several foreign clubs like Toronto FC, Charlton Athletic, Motherwell, and even Premier League side West Ham United.

After he parted ways with the Arrows, the teenage custodian joined ISL side Kerala Blasters for a three-month training stint.

Now, the teenager has left India for a trail at Scottish side Motherwell am dos set for a two-to-three weel trail.  In case he manages to impress the coaches at Motherwell FC, Dheeraj will still have to wait until July, when he turns 18, to obtain an international transfer.
