PKL 2017: Bengaluru snap their losing streak, Titans thrash Haryana

Bengaluru Bulls snapped their losing streak by defeating Puneri Paltan 24-20 in a Pro Kabaddi League match. Bulls rode on an excellent defensive performance, Kuldeep Singh marshalled the Bengaluru Bulls defence as they scored 15 tackle points and controlled Pune Raiders.

After the win, Bulls are now fourth in Zone B with 29 points from 13 matches while Puneri Paltan is also in the fourth spot in Zone A with 32 points from nine matches.

Bull started the match slowly, struggled in the first half as they trailed 0-4 but they gradually gained momentum and eventually got better of the opposition.

While in the second match, Telugu Titans thrashed Haryana Steelers 37-19 to record a much-needed victory in the Inter ZoneChallenge Week of Vivo Pro Kabaddi League.

Rahul Chaudhari scored 09 points as Titans won their fourth match of the season. Vishal Bhardwaj led the Titans defence superbly and scored six points to contain Haryana Steelers’ Raiders. Wazir Singh was the only bright light for Haryana Steelers as most of their players struggled to get points on the board.

Telugu Titans now have 29 points from 14 games but remain fifth in Zone B. Haryana Steelers are second in Zone A with 41 points from 13 games.
