Tamil Thalaivas defeated UP Yoddha (34-33) on Wednesday as Ajay Thakur scored crucial points in the end as the victory is a confidence booster for Thalaivas being only their 2nd win in Pro Kabaddi League 2017. Apart from Thakur, Prapanjan also played a key role in Thalaivas victory as he scored 8 points.
In another match, Puneri Paltan had an easy victory over Haryana Steelers (38-22) as Deepak Niwas Hooda was the star performer for Paltan with 12 points. Deepak Kumar Dahiya top scored for Steelers with 11 points, but his effort went in vain in the end. With this win, Paltan now have 37 points from 10 matches and are slowly moving towards the top of the table.
Both the matches had been played at the Motilal Nehru School of Sports in Sonepat.
