PKL 2017: U Mumba edge past Dabang Delhi in thrilling contest

Kabaddi | Pro Kabaddi League 2017 | Saturday | 23rd September, 2017

U Mumba defeated Dabang Delhi (30-28) in a close contest on Friday as Shrikant Jadhav turned out to be the star performer for Mumba, scoring the crucial two-pointer in the final minute. Jadhav ended the match being the top scorer for Mumba with 11 points as Mumba have now climbed to the 3rd position in Zone A with 44 points from 16 matches.

On the other hand, Delhi still languish at the bottom in Zone A with a mere 29 points from 13 matches. The home leg would be key for Delhi as they look to make a strong comeback in the later half of the tournament. The poor form of captain Meraj Sheykh is a major concern for the team and Nilesh Shinde’s continuous absence is not helping either.

The match had been played at Thyagraj Sports Complex in Delhi.
