PKL 2017: Thalaivas defeat Warriors in a thriller, Delhi continue to lose at home

Kabaddi | Pro Kabaddi League 2017 | Monday | 25th September, 2017

The match between Tamil Thalaivas and Bengal Warriors ended in a dramatic fashion on Sunday as Thalaivas captain, Ajay Thakur scored 2 crucial raid points in the end to seal the victory (33-32). This is only the third win for Thalaivas this season and would have raised their confidence quite a lot, considering the fact that the victory came against one of the strongest sides in the tournament, Bengal Warriors. Thakur and Arun turned out to be the top scorers for Thalaivas in the end, both of them finishing having scored 8 points each.

In another match, Haryana Steelers outclassed Dabang Delhi (42-24)  as Delhi has lost another match at home turf and is their 10th  loss from 15 matches in Pro Kabaddi League 2017. Delhi never looked to give any fight to the dominant Steelers, who had the upper hand at most times with both their raiders and defenders, having brought their A game.

Both the matches had been played at Thyagraj Sports Complex in Delhi.
