As Sports community braces changes of the new realities post the pandemic, Governments are also taking the cue and amending its rules and regulations to get sports leagues back on track.

UK Government has relaxed quarantine rules for sport team and film crews. Some of the sports teams members and production crews will not have to quarantine upon arrival in England if they are essential to the event or production. Exempted personnel’s would need to follow "stringent protocols" to become exempt from the 14-day quarantine rule.

These exemptions will basically give green light to Formula One, international football, golf and snooker tournaments to return.

The government's new quarantine exemptions mean Silverstone will be able to stage races in August, while Champions League and Europa League football, the PGA British Masters Championship and the World Snooker Championships will go ahead.

Announcing the scheme, which applies to England only, Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden said: "The British summer of sport is back on."

However, those who earn the exemption will have to live and work under controlled "bubbled" environments and must be tested for coronavirus regularly.

People belonging to the film crew will be required to remain in their bubble for 14 days which include only their accommodation and production location.
