The pair of Manu Bhaker and Saurabh Chaudhary have been out of the medal race in the 10m air pistol mixed team event. The Indian pair made a good start to the second stage of the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team qualification but could not do well here and crashed out of the medal round.
Saurabh scored 296 and Manu scored 286 in the first stage. The top-8 teams advanced to the second stage of qualification. Each shooter got a chance to hit 10 shots in two series. The top 2 teams will qualify for the Gold Medal match while the third and fourth-placed teams will play the Bronze Medal match.
The pair of Manu-Saurabh, who topped in the first stage, finished at number 7 in the second round, while only 4 teams could qualify in the medal round.
