Tokyo 2020: Indian rowing pair of Arjun Lal, Arvind Singh lose on the finals qualification of double sculls event

Indian pair of Arjun Lal Jatt and Arvind Singh had a chance to create history by winning a medal in rowing today in the men's lightweight double sculls event in Rowing. But the performance of the Indian pair in the second semi-final of the event was disappointing and they failed to make it to the final by finishing sixth and last in this race.

Arjun and Arvind clocked 6:24.41 in the second semi-final of the six-team team at Sea Forest Waterway to finish last. The top three teams in both the semi-finals qualify for the finals.
