India’s ace boxer Vijender Singh will go head-to-head with British and Commonwealth Super Middleweight champion Rocky Fielding. Fielding will defend his newly acquired title on March 30, 2018.

Since turning professional Vijender is yet to lose a bout, he boasts a 9-0 record, however, his next opponent is far more experienced than WBO Asia Pacific and Oriental Super Middleweight champion. Fielding has been involved in 26 fights so far and managed to win 25 of them which includes 14 knockouts.

Vijender Singh last bout was against Chinese opponent Zulpikar who he barely managed to beat, with many arguing that the Chinese boxer was robbed of his title. However, Vijender returned the title in order to improve India’s relation with China.
