US OPEN 2020: Andy Murray defeated by Felix Auger Ailassime

Andy Murray was beaten by Felix Auger Ailassime by 6-2,6-3,6-4. Three times Grand- Slam champion Andy Murray loss the match from Felix on US open in Thursday.

Auger-Aliassime dominated throughout the game, 52-9 edge in total winners, including 24 aces, and taking 41 of the 46 points when he put his first serve in play. He never faced such single break time against Murray.

                                       

33-year-old Murray with a metal hip who two days earlier toiled for 4 hours, 39 minutes building his career comeback from two sets down to beat Yoshihito Nishioka 4-6, 4-6, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (4), 6-4.  He stated there are more matches to look further and need to improve his fitness.

In 2019 he underwent hip resurfacing surgery in London then also he make a quick comeback in tennis field.  Murray is a former No. 1-ranked player which includes of two Wimbledon championships and two Olympic singles gold medals.

Auger-Aliassime, who turned 20 last month, is considered one of the up-and-coming future stars of men’s tennis. His next match will be with Dan Evans of Britain or Corentin Moutet of France their match were  suspended in the third set because of rain Thursday night and will resume on Friday.
