Notably, former UFC star Ronda Rousey and Cain Velasquez made their way to WWE after celebrated MMA careers.

McGregor, who has announced retirement, hasn't entered the ring since January 2020 wherein he defeated Donal Cerrone in the ring in just 40 seconds. The fight came after his 2-year absence from the ring before which he lost to Russia's Kabir Nurmagomedov.
