The World Wrestling Entertainment is trying to create a stronghold in India as it’s a very lucrative market to expand their brand. With that in mind, the WWE superstar Triple H touched down in Mumbai in-order to announce the dates of the proposed WWE tour of India. There are reports that WWE is set to host two shows in December in New Delhi and Triple H is set to make the announcement in the coming days.
Triple H took to social media to announce his arrival sharing photographs and a video of his welcome at the Mumbai airport with the caption.
According to reports, the shows will be two RAW brand house shows which will feature WWE Champion Jinder Mahal (Smackdown) and RAW superstars. The last time WWE came to India was in January 2016 when it hosted live across Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. This was their first since 2002 - which was also branded "RAW tour of India".
