Two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar became the most expensive player in the Pro Wrestling League after Delhi Sultans forked out Rs 55 lakh for the champ wrestler.
Sushil Kumar was wanted by all the teams ahead of the third season of Pro Wrestling League and after an intense bidding war, Sushil was snapped by Sultans. He now is the most expensive player in the history of the tournament.
Sakshi Malik, India's 2016 Olympic bronze medallist was bought by Mumbai Maharathi for Rs 39 lakh. Among the women, the highest bid came for World Championship gold medallist Helen Maroulis (Under-57kg category) of the United States, who was bought for Rs 44 lakh from Haryana Hammers.
