PKL 2017: Bengal Warriors begin home leg with a victory
After trailing earlier, Bengal Warriors made a strong comeback and defeated Patna Pirates 41-38 in their first home leg match of the Pro kabaddi League season 5.
Playing at their home turf, Bengal Warriors made a strong comeback and defeated Patna Pirates 41-38 and with the win, Warriors move to the top of points table in Zone B. After trailing earlier, Warriors made a strong comeback towards the end as Maninder Singh was the star performer for Warriors with 13 raid points.
After being sidelined for a couple of matches, Maninder Singh is back with a roaring performance.

Pirates had been on top for the major part of the match as Pardeep Narwal seemed unstoppable and ended the match with 11 points. But his efforts went in vain as Warriors made a strong return with Maninder Singh scoring some quick points. In the last five minutes, Bnegal scored both tackle and raid points and even inflivted an all out on Patna.
This was the first match played in the Kolkata leg of the Pro Kabaddi League 2017.
