Voting passed peacefully in four Lok Sabha constituencies of Jharkhand in the fourth phase of elections. Till 5 pm, an average of 63.14 percent voting took place in all four Lok Sabha constituencies. The four Lok Sabha constituencies where voting is took place includes Khunti, Singhbhum, Lohardaga and Palamu. The voting percentage in these four Lok Sabha constituencies was 65.82%, 66.11%, 62.60% and 59.99% respectively. The candidates whose fate has been sealed in EVMs today include Union Minister Arjun Munda, MP BD Ram, Geeta Koda, Joba Manjhi, Sukhdev Bhagat, Sameer Oraon, Mamta Bhuyan and Kalicharan Munda. Till 1 pm, 43.80% voting took place. Voting was 43.83% in Singhbhum, 47.41% in Khunti, 41.85% in Palamu and 43.46% in Lohardaga. Whereas in Mandar assembly constituency falling under Lohardaga Lok Sabha constituency, 42.80 percent voting took place. The voting percentage of Tamar assembly constituency falling in Khunti LS area was 49.31. Meanwhile, there was reports of clash in Chhatarpur booth number 94 of Palamu Lok Sabha constituency, where BJP and RJD workers clashed with each other. Security forces chased away the miscreants. Earlier till 11 am, 27.40% voting had taken place. Voting was 26.16% in Singhbhum, 29.14% in Khunti, 26.95% in Palamu and 27.77% in Lohardaga. Whereas in Mandar Assembly constituency falling under Lohardaga Lok Sabha constituency, 27.69 percent voting took place. The voting percentage of Tamar assembly constituency falling in Khunti LS area was 32.8. Till 9 oclock, 11.78% voting took place in all four assembly constituencies. There was 12.67% voting in Singhbhum, 12.20% in Khunti, 11.47% in Palamu and 10.97% in Lohardaga. Till 9 am, 10.78 percent voting took place in Mandar assembly constituency falling in Lohardaga loess area and 11.25 percent voting took place in Tamar assembly constituency falling in Khunti loess area. Union Minister for Tribal Affairs and Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and BJP candidate from Khunti Lok Sabha Arjun Munda cast his vote at booth number 172 of East Primary School, Khelarisai in Kharsawan. Along with him, his wife Meera Munda also voted. Former Rajya Sabha MP Dheeraj Prasad Sahu reached polling station number 279 located in Thana Toli Girls Middle School of Lohardaga urban area and cast his vote. After coming out, he appealed to all the voters to vote in the national interest and use their franchise. Dheeraj Sahu said that he has voted for the development of the country. Let us tell you that a lot of enthusiasm is being seen among the voters in Lohardaga Lok Sabha constituency. From general to special polling stations, people are exercising their franchise. A total of 7595 polling stations have been set up for voting in Lohardaga, Khunti, Palamu and Singhbhum Lok Sabha seats. In which 639 are in urban and 6956 in rural areas. 30380 polling personnel have been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting elections in a peaceful and fair manner in all four Lok Sabhas. This time all the booths have been made like model booths. There are 23 unique booths among these. Where the district administration will make artwork on the theme of their area. Out of 7595 polling stations, 519 are being operated by women voter workers. Besides, PWD personnel was  present at 14 polling booths. The Election Commission is monitoring the voting taking place in these polling centers through web casting. 15000 4D cameras have also been installed. The Election Commission has sent security forces, polling personnel and election related materials to these polling stations. These four seats, Lohardaga, Khunti, Palamu and Singhbhum, cover 10 districts and 23 assembly constituencies of the state. 45 candidates are in the electoral fray from these four Lok Sabha constituencies. There are 14 candidates from Singhbhum, 15 from Lohardaga, 9 from Palamu and 7 from Khunti. According to the Election Commission data, 64 lakh 37 thousand 460 voters of Jharkhand will participate in the fourth phase. In which there are 32 lakh 29 thousand 480 male voters and 32 lakh 07 thousand 938 female voters. Palamu has the highest number of voters 22 lakh 38 thousand 460. Whereas 14 lakh 36 thousand 351 voters in Lohardaga, 14 lakh 41 thousand 841 voters in Singhbhum and 13 lakh 20 thousand 808 voters in Khunti will exercise their franchise. 1715 polling stations have been made in Singhbhum Lok Sabha constituency. In which 250 are in urban and 1454 in rural areas. 1705 polling stations have been made in Khunti Lok Sabha constituency, out of which only 83 are in urban areas. Whereas 1622 polling stations are in rural areas. 1748 polling stations have been made in Lohardaga, out of which only 76 polling stations are in the urban area. Whereas in Palamu Lok Sabha, 2427 polling stations have been made, of which 230 are in urban areas and 2197 in rural areas. There are 481 voters above 100 years of age in these four Lok Sabha seats. Of these, 223 are male and 258 female voters. Out of 481 voters, 182 are in Palamu, 120 in Lohardaga, 105 in Khunti and 74 in Singhbhum. 9878 VVPAT machines will be used to conduct elections in these four Lok Sabha constituencies. In which 30% has been kept in reserve. Whereas 9114 ballot units and 9114 control units will be used. In which 20 percent has been kept in reserve.
