BSF 'killings': CPM seeks justice for tribals

AGARTALA: Veteran leader and CPM chief whip in the Lok Sabha Jitendra Choudhury , on Tuesday demanded exemplary punishment for the Border Security Force (BSF) troopers responsible for the killing of three tribals recently.He said the 31 Battalion of BSF, to which the accused troopers belong, should be withdrawn from the state.Choudhury also sought Rs 10 lakh and a government job each for the deceased's kin.Later, Choudhury, accompanied by other MPs from the state, met Union home minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday evening and reiterated the demands.
