Parents lauds CBSE’s guidelines to allow NCERT textbooks

There is huge difference in the cost of NCERT textbooks and private publishers' books. "Sumit Gupta, who passed Class 12th board in 2015, said, "NCERT textbooks are best to clear students' concept and also help students understand chapters better." CBSE city coordinator Ramanand Chauhan said, "Schools have been asked to submit their demand for textbooks for the next academic session." ""Last year, I spent Rs 3,500 on my son's textbooks, but now I will have to spend just Rs 300. Parents don't have any option, but to buy books from the shop suggested by schools.
