Delhi University has released the third cut-off list for the commencing academic session on its official website, the link for which is du.ac.in
As per reports, many prominent colleges have not released any cut-offs for some courses.
Total number of admissions:
Over 33,000 admissions have taken place to over 56,000 seats in the varsity. However, 3,203 students withdrew their admissions.
Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC):
Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) has not issued cut-offs for its courses in the general category.
List of courses available in popular DU colleges:
Admissions for courses like Economics (Hons), Political Science (Hons) and Chemistry (Hons) have been reopened under the third cutoff list.
Hindu college has reopened admission for Chemistry (Hons) at 96.66 per cent. Further, the college has demanded 97.50 per cent for Economics, 96.75 per cent for English, and 97 per cent for B.Com (Hons) in general category.
Lady Shri Ram College:
Also, Economics (Hons) was reopened at Lady Shri Ram College at 97.5 per cent.
Moreover, Gargi College has reopened Political Science (Hons) at 94 per cent, Chemistry (Hons) at 94.33 per cent and Zoology (Hons) at 93 per cent.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh (Morning)
The college has reopened History (Hons) at 89.75 per cent and BCom at 94.50 per cent.
Indraprasthta College for Women
The IP College for women has also reopened admission for Mathematics (Hons) at 95 per cent
DU admission process:
The admission process under the third cut-off list begins today, June 30 and will continue till July 7. As reported, the verification of documents and approval of admissions will be held from 9:30 to 1:30 pm for regular shift colleges and 4 pm to 7 pm for evening shift colleges.
Admissions under the list will take place between June 30 and July 7.
A dozen colleges have closed admissions for BCom (Hons) after the first two cut-off lists. Some of these colleges are Bharti College, Lady Shri Ram College, Kirorimal College, Maitreyi College, Daulat Ram, etc.
The university has, for now, announced a total of three cut-off lists. The first cut-off list was announced on June 19.
DU: NCWEB announces first cut-off list
The Delhi University`s Non-Collegiate Women`s Education Board (NCWEB) today announced its first cut-off list.
The highest cut-off for admission in the general category to BCom is 85 per cent for Hansraj College and Miranda House, a decline of five per cent from last year.
For admission to BA programme, Hansraj College and Miranda House have announced a highest cut-off of 78 per cent, which has decreased by 10 per cent from last year.
The lowest cut-offs were issued by Bhagini Nivedita College and Aditi Mahavidyalaya for the general category.
Bhagini Nivedita has issued a cut-off of 72 per cent for BA programme while it has issued a cut-off of 77 per cent for BCom. Other colleges like Aryabhat, Jesus and Mary, Bharti College, PGDAV, etc have issued a cut-off of 74 per cent for BA programme while they have issued a cut-off of 78 per cent for BCom.
The NCWEB is a non-formal system of obtaining degree from the Delhi University with lectures being delivered only on the weekends. Only women students residing in the National Capital Territory of Delhi can enroll themselves as students of the board.
