About Law
Legal education confreres the title of Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. / B.L.). During the course the candidate are taught Social Sciences like History, Political Science, Sociology and Economics along with standard legal subjects, such as torts, contracts and constitutional law. To avail the degree one must have a 12th certificate from a recognised state or central board.
Duration: 5 years.
One can join the council of ministry or practice independently once the course is completed. One can also go for specialised short term courses like Cyber Law or Intellectual Property Rights.
