About B.Ed
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) is a course for those looking forward for a career in teaching. It is mandatory for teaching at the secondary and higher secondary classes. The minimum eligibility criterion is a Bachelor’s degree in Arts or Science. The students from Arts stream can teach subjects like History, Civics, Geography, and Languages, while science students are trained to teach Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
Duration: 3 years.
The National Council for Teacher Education regulates teacher training courses in the country. It is designed in such a manner that it integrates a deep knowledge in human development, pedagogical knowledge, and communication skills.
