There are 26,502 Railways jobs that are available. RRB will activate a mock link for the first stage of the computer-based test on July 26. RRB has advised the candidates to visit its website for information on exam-related matters and not to fall prey to the touts, as there were many cases reported in the past that Railway job aspirants were fleeced by cons.

Around 4.5 lakh candidates applied for these jobs. The Indian Railways this year released notifications for the recruitment in over 1 lakh posts in various departments. The national transporter has released notifications for such huge number of jobs after years. Railways also announced vacancies for 15000 Railway Protection Force (RPF) posts.
