Opening Date of Online Application: August 16
Closing date of Online Application: September 24

Vacancy details
These vacancies are available for Sub Inspectors and Sergeant posts.

Sub Inspector: 1998 posts
Sergeant: 215 posts

Eligibility criteria
For both the posts graduates are eligible
Applicants must have obtained the graduation degree from a recognised university on or before August 1
The minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit for male candidates belonging to an unreserved category is 37 years.

Bihar Police Recruitment 2020: Salary structure
The pay scale for the posts is Rs 35,400-1,12,400.

Bihar Police Recruitment: Application fee
Candidates should deposit Rs 700 as application fee. The application fee for candidates belonging to SC and ST category is 400.

Selection process for Bihar Police jobs
Selection to the posts will be based on two phases of written exam, physical fitness test.

The preliminary exam will be a qualifying test for the main exam.

Candidates who score less than 30% marks in the preliminary exam will not be eligible to appear for the main exam.
