The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination on June 27, 2021.
The Union Public Service Commission has released the examination form filling dates and today being the last day of submitting the form. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2021 online at upsc.gov.in
The online registration process for the UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2021 will end at 6 pm on March 24, 2021.
A candidate applying for the UPSC Civil Services Prelim examination 2021 must hold a graduation degree from a recognized University.

712 vacancies in Group A and Group B posts in different government departments would be filled on the basis of the Civil Services Examination. The preliminary exam is scheduled for June 27, 2021. UPSC CS Prelims would also be considered for the preliminary examination for Indian Forest Services Examination.
Candidates applying (excepting Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) for Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination are required to pay a fee of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit card.
Candidates who will qualify for the Main Examination will have to pay a further fee of Rs. 200.
UPSC Civil Services Prelims is an objective type (multiple choice) test consisting of two papers. The exam serves as a screening test only; the marks obtained in the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination will not be counted for determining the final order of merit.
