The Government of the Republic of Korea has declared the `2018 Korean Government Scholarship Program`. The scholarship program is designed for the undergraduate degrees acceptable at higher education institutes in Korea.
The last date to apply for the scholarship- October 13, 2017.
Total 2 scholarships are kept for Indian Nationals under this program. The academic program will be of 5 years which will include one year of preliminary Korean Language Program. While the duration for Bachelor degree program will be 4 years.
Age- Applying candidate must be under the age of 25 years as on March 1, 2018.
- Applicant must be graduates or is expected to graduate from High School.
- Applicant should either have a CGPA of 80% or should have been ranked within the top 20% of their entire high school period.
- The ones who have already completed their graduation are not eligible to apply.
- Also, those who have graduated or are expected to graduate from a high school in Korea are not eligible to apply.
Candidates who want to apply will be required to send their application directly to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, New Delhi on or before October 13, 2017 till 5 pm. The completed applications could be sent on the following address:

The scholarship benefits would include airfare, a monthly stipend of 800,000 KRW per month, tuition fee of upto 5 million KRW, medical insurance among other grants.
