Tribune News ServiceAmritsar, March 22The Sadar police have arrested three snatchers who used to rob people in various parts of the city. The police authorities said that they had specific inputs that the accused used to commit snatchings and robberies on stolen motorcycles, following which raids were conducted and the accused were arrested. A case under Sections 379, 379-B and 411 of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against them in this connection. They were identified as Rakesh Kumar of Shiv Puri Chowk in the Prem Nagar locality, Subhash and Bobby of the Mustafabad area on Batala Road here. Further investigations were under progress, they said.
