A temperature drop is not being ruled out during the last week of January. "There have been instances of the mercury plunging late in January. While so far there is no such indication, but winter continues. We will continue to have low minimum temperatures," added Das.Meanwhile, the districts continued to reel under severe a cold on Monday. While Sriniketan recorded 8. 0 degrees, Bankura clocked 9 and Berhampore had a minimum of 10 degrees.
