To maintain peace, security and law and order during Lok Sabha elections, riot mock drill was conducted in the Nehru Nagar police lines. In order to conduct the upcoming Lok Sabha elections peacefully and fair and in view of peace, security and law and order during the elections, the City Police Bhopal, under the guidance of senior officers, this morning, Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime/Headquarters Akhil Patel, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Neetu at Police Line Nehru Nagar riot mock drill rehearsal was organized in which about 250 police personnel including police station forces, traffic forces and officers/employees of Reserve Lines participated. Before the riot mock drill police commissioner Akhil Patel, while addressing , explained the importance of the  riot mock drill   and what precautions should be taken in adverse situations during law and order and the responsibility of the police personnel. Gave detailed guidance in this regard. In the  riot mock drill  , different teams of police personnel were formed, in which tear gas party, tear gas party, lathi party, rifle party, medical party, water cannon party and others were given instructions for their respective tasks. After this, the police talked to the people who were protesting regarding various demands and tried to convince them, but suddenly the crowd of people became furious and started pelting stones at the police. Seeing this the police first warned them. Even after this, when they did not agree, tear gas shells were fired, even after tear gas shells were fired, the protesters were damaging public property, then the police issued a warning by making an announcement, but seeing the protesters becoming aggressive, the police team used batons. After orders from the Magistrate, to stop the uncontrolled crowd and to avoid damage to public property, firing was done, in which some protesters were injured and some policemen were also injured, who were immediately taken to the hospital in an ambulance by the doctors team for treatment. In the  riot mock drill  , both the roles were played by police officers and personnel. Keeping the law and order in mind and to control the crowd in adverse situations, such mock drills are organized from time to time to train the staff and to test their capabilities, so that they can perform the law and order duties, strike.
