Traffic on newly constructed bridge starts

Traffic on the newly constructed bridge started on Friday from Sarvadharma Bridge on Kolar Road in Bhopal. The new bridge has been built by connecting it to the old bridge, which cost Rs 5 crore. The 13 meter wide and 60 meter long bridge was inaugurated one and a half years ago. The bridge built with six lanes will benefit 5 lakh people every day. Foundation stone laying ceremony for the bridge was held on September-22 last year, there were no problems in the work as the Kaliyasot river was not in spate. For this reason, finishing work was completed in January-February. At the same time, traffic also started on Friday. A 15 kilometer long six lane is being built between Kolar Rest House and Gol Jod. In which Sarvadharma Bridge was the most important. Therefore, a separate project to build a new bridge adjacent to the existing bridge was made. Its work was also started along with Sixlane. Till now vehicles were passing through the old bridge only, but from Friday vehicles started passing from both the bridges. This gave a lot of relief to the people from the jam. However, asphalting of the approach road is yet to happen. The construction of the 15.10 km long Kolar Six Lane has been going on for the last one and a half years. The work of one lane from Chuna Bhatti intersection to D-Mart and both lanes from DMart to Kalapani village onwards has been completed. Here, work is going on at a fast pace between the lime kiln and the rest house. The lane on one side is almost complete, while cement concrete is being done on the other lane. The new bridge of Sarwadharma is very important in terms of traffic on Kolar Road. The Kolar Line passed through one side of the existing bridge, which was shifted last year. After this the place was improved on the side of Bhoj University. A new bridge has passed from here. To build the bridge, the convenience house at the end was also demolished.
