Compensation of Rs 82.2L ordered

he District Court Bhopal has given a historic verdict in the case of death of an artisan in Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) during a road accident in the capital Bhopal. In this case, the court of Additional District Judge Madhav Prasad Namdev has issued orders to pay a compensation amount of      Rs 8223900 to the family of the deceased. This order has been given to the owner, driver of the truck that caused the accident and the insurance company National Insurance Company Limited. According to the information, the court has given these orders after hearing the petition filed by senior advocates RK Hingorani and Sunny Hingorani on behalf of the relatives of the deceased. Sunny Hingorani told that Menno Simon Barik, a resident of Awadhpuri, Bhopal, was posted as an artisan in Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL). On February 2, 2019, Menno Simon Barik was going from Chhattisgarh Padhar towards Dhamtari by car. Meanwhile, near Kodenad Bhatapara, the truck driver, while driving the truck rashly and carelessly, hit his car hard from the wrong side. Menno Simon Barik was seriously injured after being hit by a truck. After the incident, the family took him to Siddhanta Hospital in Bhopal in critical condition. He died during treatment here on  February 18.
