AAP under fire for putting Kejriwal photo between Bhagat, Ambedkar

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has come under fire for placing jailed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwals photo between the portraits of Bhagat Singh and BR Ambedkar on Thursday.  As Sunita read out a fresh message on Kejriwals behalf for the MLAs of Delhi, the picture of him behind bars being used as display pictures by various AAPs social media handles, placed between Bhagat Singh and BR Ambedkars portraits caught the attention of the BJP and social media. Taking a dig at the AAP, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva has stated that Aam Aadmi should be ashamed of itself for putting up Arvind Kejriwals photos in between those of Shaheed e Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and demanded that it be  immediately removed. Kejriwal is a corruption accused and by putting up his photograph between those of patriots such as Shaheed-e-Azam (Bharat Singh) and Dr Ambedkar, the AAP has insulted their dignity. They have crossed all the limits... What kind of patriot Arvind Kejriwal is as they claim? He has just looted and destroyed Delhi, alleged Sachdeva. Earlier, in a digital briefing, she said that Kejriwal, in his message, said even though he is in jail, the two crore people of Delhi, who are his family, should not face any problems. We need to solve their problems apart from official work, Sunita said while delivering the AAP chiefs message. The people of Delhi should not face any trouble because I am in jail. The two crore people of Delhi are my family, no one in my family should be sad for any reason. God bless everyone, the chief minister said in his message. An official statement said despite being in jail, the chief minister is concerned about the two crore people of Delhi rather than himself. He spoke to his wife through videoconferencing and, during this conversation, sent a message to all AAP MLAs through her. This message comes a day after AAP MP, Sanjay Singhs release from prison after six months, over alleged money laundering charges in the Delhi excise policy case. Sanjay Singh on Wednesday said that CM Kejriwal will not resign. Kejriwal has sent several messages from ED custody and then from Tihar jail since his arrest on March 21. Notably, Kejriwals wife, Sunita, who stayed away from politics while her husband was at the helm, has come out with three impassioned video statements in the recent past.In the last video message on March 29, Sunita Kejriwal announced the Kejriwal ko Aashirwad campaign, urging people to support her husband. Damn Guys did you see that portrait of Kejriwal behind Sunita? Cringe Pro Max, wrote one X user. This is cinematic level of nonsense drama Unbelievable. The portrait of kejriwal on wall IS FOR REAL, wrote another X user. Kejriwal has so far sent four messages, first from ED custody and then from Tihar jail since his arrest on March 21. In his first message on March 23 , the chief minister had assured the women of Delhi that he would fulfil the promise of providing them a monthly honorarium of Rs 1,000. In all his messages, he has reiterated his resolve to serve the two crore people of Delhi, the statement said.
