IMD issues yellow alert in State for next three days

There will be respite from the heat in the coming three days, as a yellow alert has been issued in the state for thunderstorms and lightning in the next three days. During this time the wind speed can be 30 to 40 km per hour or even more. According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), due to change in the weather, the maximum temperature may drop by four to five degrees in the next four days. According to the forecast of Meteorological Center Ranchi, many parts of the state including Ranchi may remain partly cloudy on April 7 and there is a possibility of rain. There may be rain with thunder at many places in Ranchi and surrounding districts on 7, 8 and 9 April. During this period, there are indications of wind blowing at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour. The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert regarding this. On April 9, a yellow alert has been issued regarding thunder and lightning at some places in the southern part of the state i.e. East and West Singhbhum, Simdega and Seraikela Kharsawan. An alert has been issued in Ranchi for partly cloudy sky and light rain with thunder from April 7 to 10, due to which it is being speculated that the temperature in the capital will drop by 3 to 4 degrees. Let us tell you that the maximum temperature in many districts of the state has exceeded 40 degrees Celsius. Due to which peoples troubles have increased. It has become difficult to go out. According to meteorologist Abhishek Anand, there may be a drop in temperature in Ranchi and surrounding districts in the coming days due to partly cloudy sky and light rain. Meteorological Center Ranchi has advised people that there is a possibility of strong wind and rain for the next four days. For this reason, always carry an umbrella or raincoat with you while going out of the house. At the same time, farmers have been advised to harvest their crops only after seeing the weather forecast. Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, the weather of the entire state remained dry. The effect of heat wave was seen at one or two places in the southern parts of the state. The highest maximum temperature of 42.2 degrees Celsius was recorded at Seraikela Kharsawan while the lowest minimum temperature of 21.5 degrees was recorded at Bokaro Thermal. Whereas, if we talk about the capital Ranchi, the maximum was recorded at 36.4 degrees and the minimum was 21.6 degrees Celsius. In view of the increasing heat in the state, the health department is serious about prevention from heat wave. Advisory has already been issued to ensure preparedness in hospitals regarding protection from heat wave. After this, Alok Trivedi, campaign director of National Health Mission, Jharkhand, has directed to run a massive campaign across the state to make people aware about protection from heat wave. Civil surgeons, have been instructed to disseminate what to do and what not to do. Also, instructions have been given to ensure compliance with the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Climate Change and Human Health Program for prevention and treatment of heat-related diseases. Here, the State Home Affairs and Disaster Management Department has also directed for widespread public awareness regarding heat wave prevention in the state.
