Locals attacked Municipal Corporation ward in-charge Arbaaz Khan who had gone to severe water tap connections which were joined illegally in Budhwara,  Zone Officer RB Tripathi was also abused and heckled. After this matter, corporation officials reached the spot. Also lodged a complaint with the police station to register an FIR. The incident occurred after 1 pm on Sunday afternoon. The staff of Zone-5 had reached Budhwara to recover the outstanding dues. During this period, illegal tap connections were also investigated. During this period, illegal connections were found in some houses. After this the corporation staff started disconnecting the connections. Then some people created a ruckus and attacked the corporation staff. Due to illegal tap connection and recovery, some people of Budhwara started creating ruckus. After this the zone officer started abusing Tripathi. Seeing this, ward in-charge Arbaaz Khan stopped the people. Then a person came and slapped Arbaaz. Other people standing nearby also started fighting. The corporation staff somehow saved themselves from the sudden attack and came out of the spot. After this, complete information about the matter was given to Corporation Commissioner Harendra Narayan. The Commissioner sent officers associated with the department to the spot. Zone in-charge Tripathi said that some people have been beaten and abused. On the instructions of senior officers, an FIR is being lodged against him in the police station.
