In April, seeing an increase in number of students being given LCs, All Gujarat Parents Association had written to the Chairman of Gujarat State Child Protection Society apprising them of the situation.
The Deputy Director of Primary Education SP Chaudhary has written to the DEOs to initiate an inquiry against such schools and to inform Gujarat State Child Protection Society about further discourse.
However, no action was taken till date despite a complaint being made to 1098 helpline.
