However, the airline offered him another seat after takeoff, he said.‘Top 30 entries’Madhish Parikh had travelled to Bangalore as co-ordinator of innovation lab with a few school children from Maninagar. The students’ innovation was among the top 30 entries chosen from across the country and Parikh was there with the children to present their innovation to the jury. Talking about his return journey by Indigo 6E 452 flight with his colleague and the kids, he said, “I informed the cabin crew soon after I boarded the flight, but they did not get it cleaned. The flight arrived 20 minutes before time at the destination, which shows they had enough time to get the two seats cleaned with tea stains on tray table and on other plastic parts.”Parikh wanted to file complaint with the airline but could not in flight. “I asked crew member to provide me a feedback form or complaint book, which they said was not available with them. So they suggested that I can get my seat changed. Despite having enough time to get seats cleaned, they did not bother to call their cleaning team before takeoff to get it cleaned.”Meanwhile, the passenger got response from airline after he posted his condition with photos on a micro blogging site. The airline stated, “Hi, Madhish. We are so sorry about your bad experience. This is not as per our standards. After every flight, cleaning does take place.However, we will share your feedback with our team. ~Thank you! ~Syed.”Parikh also wrote an email to airline customerafter he landed. An email sent to the airline by Mirror remained unanswered till going to the press.
