But one cannot blame the vehicle owners for parking their cars on 'No parking Zone' when there is no alternate space. Parking vehicles illegally have become a major issue in the city, leading to traffic congestion and ruckus for the commuters. The number of vehicles in the city is increasing, but lack of facility is a major reason why people are parking vehicles on roads. According to a senior police official, there are places like CG Road, Ashram Road, SG Highway, Prahaladnagar Road, Vastrapur Lake road, etc where No Parking signage are installed.
