A firing incident took place in Sardarnagar on Monday late night, where two men came in a car and fired one round in the air to threaten one Ravi Kishan and extort money from him. The incident took place outside Jhulelal temple located in the area. The complaint was lodged by Kishan, 28, a resident of Sardarnagar. He stated in his complaint that on 4th August, he had lodged a complaint with the Airport police station against the accused identified as Ajay and Manish after the duo tried to extort Rs 10 lakh from him and threatened to kill him. On Monday night, when Kishan and his friends were sitting near the temple and having tea, the duo came in a black car and stopped right in front of them. According to the victim, one of the accused Manish pulled out a pistol and fired one round in the air and threatened to kill Kishan before fleeing the spot. After the incident, police officials reached the spot to investigate, and later a complaint was lodged with Sardarnagar police station against the two accused. As per police officials, after the victim lodged a complaint against the two regarding the extortion matter, the two accused must have tried to scare the victim. Police officials said they were trying to find the accused and the two would be arrested soon.
