A local YouTuber was arrested on Tuesday by the cyber cell police for posting random girls' photos on his Instagram page and tagging the photos with inappropriate site links. When questioned by the police, he said that posting girls' photos on the Instagram accounts attracted followers. Regarding the matter, the cyber cell police lodged a complaint under IT act 66 (C) and 67 and started an investigation. During the investigation of the technical team of the cyber cell, it was revealed that the accused Bhimani ran four fake Instagram accounts and was taking photos of random girls from Instagram and posting them on the fake accounts. He would share the link to his YouTube channel in the comments section to get more people to subscribe to it.
