Rover on moon will be a fitting tribute to Vikram Sarabhai, says PM Narendra Modi

It will be a tribute to Vikram Sarabhai in the true sense from 130 crore Indians when the Vikram Lander will enable the touchdown of Pragyan Rover on the Moon as part of the Chandrayaan-2 mission, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi. K Kasturirangan, former chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation, said ISRO had achieved what Sarabhai had envisaged. ISRO is already doing that and this is a fitting tribute to the great visionary," said Kasturirangan. Sarabhai had set up the Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad Textile and Industrial Research Association, ISRO, and Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad. IIM-A is a joint creation of the Centre, Vikram Sarabhai and Arvind Lalbhai.
