Find majestic animals at Jungle Safari near Statue of Unity

Sharing some of the glimpses of the majestic Fauna in the Jungle, Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary (Forest & Environment Deptt) & MD SSNL tweeted, “Spending time alone can do wonders for my peace of mind !! A cub resting on a tree in a Jungle safari. Leopards, very solitary animals, mostly alone, resting on trees or hiding in caves. Come & visit world’s fastest ever made Safari envisioned by Hon @PMOIndia near @souindia, Kevadia.”

He also shared pictures of a magnificent tiger in action and wrote, “Paws up, people!! A tiger imitates human activity at the world`s fastest-ever built Jungle Safari at Kevadia, by greeting 2 visitors by putting a paw on the glass enclosure. Pack your bags & head to Kevadia, home to the #WorldsTallestStatue envisioned by Hon @PMOIndia. @souindia."

The Jungle Safari covers 375 acres at seven different levels ranging from an altitude or elevation of 29 metres to 180 metres, on the right bank of the Narmada River, near Statue of Unity. The park is home to more than 186 species of fauna, covering various biomes of Africa, Australia, Asia and America. Visitors will also be able to spot India’s endangered species, which includes the magnificent big cats such as Asiatic Lion, Royal Bengal Tiger and Leopard. The safari route has been designed such, that the visitors can view animal activities, spot reptiles and watch birds.
